REPRESENTATIVE CASE
EXPERIENCE Steve led MGM's representation in the
personal injury litigation following the November 20,
1980 fire (MDL 453), and in the business
interruption/property damage insurance coverage suit
that followed. He represented Hilton in the
Hilton fire litigation; American Pacific in its
successful jury defense of a securities fraud class
action; Microsoft in its successful defense of a
state-law-based antitrust suit; and Albert D. Seeno
Construction Co. in its litigation with its
subcontractor and insurers following a multi-million
dollar class action award against it in Reno, which
Steve was hired post-verdict to
resolve. Steve has represented pharmaceutical
companies, medical device manufacturers, automobile
manufacturers, hospitals, insurers and insureds in
coverage disputes, the Las Vegas Convention &
Visitors Authority, the Mirage, Sierra Pacific Power
Co., Southwest Gas Co., landowners contesting
fraudulently-filed mining claims, and other individuals
and entities in all manner of litigated disputes,
particularly in jury
cases.

Civil Practice and Litigation in Federal & State
Courts, ALI/ABA, 1987 to
present. Co-reporter/principal draftsman of Nevada
Supreme Court Rules 99-119 (rules for dealing with

of Nevada Supreme Court Rules 150-203 (Rules of

Conduct).
