Suellen is an experienced commercial and employment litigator.  She has practiced in Reno since 1976 and has significant first-chair litigation experience.  Her employment experience includes wrongful termination, employment discrimination, breach of non-competition agreements, and employee benefits lawsuits in federal and state courts.  She also has substantial experience with complex business and real property litigation in trial and appellate courts.

Suellen previously served as one of the authors of the Nevada Civil Practice Manual and has written and lectured on various employment issues including arbitration, employee handbooks, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, non-competition agreements, and common law wrongful discharge.  Suellen has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for a number of years and is currently listed as a Best Lawyer® in Labor & Employment Litigation and Real Estate Litigation.

Suellen joined Morris Peterson from Littler Mendelson, a nationwide employment litigation firm.  Prior to her time there, Suellen was a partner at Woodburn and Wedge, the oldest law firm in Nevada.  In law school, Suellen was a member of the Stanford Law Review.
