Rex Garner handles a diverse range of litigation matters in state and federal court. He has successfully concluded numerous cases through negotiated settlements, mediations, arbitrations, summary judgment, trials before judges and juries, and on appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court. These cases have involved contracts, medical devices and products, personal injury, intellectual property, banking, employment, land use covenants, and statutory claims and defenses.
Rex’s experience as a law clerk for a judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court makes him a valuable resource for understanding the intricacies of Nevada’s largest state court. During law school, Rex was an articles editor for the Oregon Review of International Law. Prior to college and law school, Rex spent most of his years overseas as the child of a diplomat. He lived in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. He is fluent in a dialect of the Philippines called Cebuano, and although not completely fluent in Spanish, he continues to study and practice that language along with several others, including Chinese, Russian, Farsi, and English.
