We represent clients in cases involving business relationships, anti-competitive business practices, and other economic interests. Our clients range from small start-up companies to large publicly traded corporations, in matters involving protection of trade secrets and intellectual property in state and federal courts. For example, we successfully blocked a client’s competitors from using its patented aluminum can manufacturing techniques. Our lawyers obtained a permanent injunction against a client’s former business partner and now competitor from using the client’s copyrighted materials and trade names. We prevailed, after a lengthy jury trial, against a hotel/casino’s claim of trademark infringement and secured the mark for our client on a counterclaim. We assisted in obtaining summary judgment against a competitor seeking to invalidate our pharmaceutical manufacturing client’s patent. Our work in this area also includes litigation to enforce and to avoid non-competition agreements.
